Senior
Citizens 65 Years or Older: ID required
Driver's License, Birth Certificate, Medicare Card and/or photo
ID with birth date.
Persons With Disabilities: ID required
Medicare Card, Disabled Veteran ID (Broward County Transit, Miami Dade Transit or Palm Tran Disabled
ID) Division of Blind Services ID, Mental Health ID, any public
health care agency ID, physicians letter of documentation or any
Americans with Disability Act paratransit certification. Must be accompanied by photo ID.
Medicare Card Holders: ID required
Medicare Card and photo ID.
Students: ID required
Any person age 13 through 18 is eligible to receive a student discount; however, the person must provide
student identification and necessary proof of age,* when applicable. For college and vocational students,
any college or vocational school ID is acceptable. All IDs must include a photo or be accompanied by photo
ID. Those students who do not have access to a college/vocational school ID may write or visit Tri-Rail
for a Tri-Rail-issued student ID card. Those seeking Tri-Rail-issued ID must show proof of current
eligibility for the student discount: a college ID card, a letter on school stationery which indicates
part-time or full-time status and term dates or a dated registration fee schedule. Acceptable proof of
age for students ages 13 - 18 is a Driver's License, Florida State ID Card or any ID card distributed by
a junior or senior high school.
Children
Children under five ride free. Discount tickets are available to children ages 5-12.
Employer Discount Program
Tri-Rail offers employees of participating South Florida businesses
a 25% discount on Monthly and 12-Trip tickets. Members of the Employer
Discount Program may purchase EDP tickets directly from Tri-Rail's
ticket vending machines located at all stations. Passengers who purchase
an EDP ticket must carry a special Tri-Rail-issued identification
card while onboard to verify discount eligibility. To find out if

Group
Discount Information
Groups of 25 or more receive a 15% Tri-Rail fare discount when Customer Service
is notified at least two weeks prior to departure. Contact the
Customer Service Department for more information.
