With absolutely no cost, only a minimum amount of paperwork and all important information now accessible via the Internet, the SFRTA/Tri-Rail has made it even
easier for companies to enroll in the EDP.
CORPORATE BENEFITS PACKAGE
The Corporate Benefits Package highlights the many benefits that the EDP has to offer. Please take a moment to download and review the information provided in the brochure.
EMPLOYER’S PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
Employers must complete the Employer Discount Program Application and sign the Agreement Form. There is no cost to the employer and no minimum number of participating employees required. To qualify, an employer is required to:
- Have more than one employee
- Have a business/commercial location
- Have a business phone number registered to the employer
- Assign an EDP contact person to promote and administer the program
- Select promotional methods as outlined in #3 of the Agreement Form
- Verify employees employment
- Take possession of, and mail back, SFRTA/Tri-Rail EDP identification cards for those employees who:
- Are no longer employed with the EDP Employer
- Stop utilizing the EDP, but are still employed with the EDP Employer
- Are removed from the EDP by the SFRTA/Tri-Rail due to fraudulent use of their EDP ID Card
- ENROLLMENT GUIDELINES
- To qualify for the 25 percent discount and receive an EDP ID Card, employees are required to:
- Be employed by the EDP Employer
- Complete the application and survey in the back of the
EDP Member Benefits and Application, only accessible via
the Active Employer Login page.
TRANSIT TO SUBSIDIZE EMPLOYEES (EDP MEMBER) COST EDP MAIL & RIDE PROGRAM
The SFRTA/Tri-Rail offers the EDP Mail & Ride Program to employers who want to subsidize their employees SFRTA/Tri-Rail EDP tickets.
The program provides the company’s EDP contact person with the convenience of ordering and receiving EDP tickets through the mail to distribute
to participating employees. For more information about the EDP Mail & Ride Program, please contact the EDP Coordinator at 954-788-7838 or
via e-mail at edp@sfrta.fl.gov
- HOW TO ORDER TICKETS:
- Please have a company-authorized contact person fill out the EDP Mail & Ride Order Form for the number of EDP Monthly or 12-Trip tickets
needed by EDP Members. Please be sure that 12-Trip Ticket orders have origin/destination stations marked clearly.
- DEADLINE DATES FOR TICKET ORDERS:
- All EDP Mail & Ride orders must be received via e-mail or postmarked by the 10th of the month for the following month’s tickets.
For example, June’s ticket order would be postmarked by May 10th.
- PURCHASE OPTIONS:
- The SFRTA/Tri-Rail provides two options for the purchase of EDP Mail & Ride Program tickets:

- METHOD OF PAYMENT:
- The SFRTA/Tri-Rail accepts business checks and money orders, as well as corporate Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards.
Sorry, no purchase orders, wire transfers or American Express credit cards are accepted.
- TICKET DELIVERY:
- SFRTA/Tri-Rail tickets will be delivered by U.S. Mail, unless a company specifically requests another type of delivery method – i.e. a FedEx
account number, courier service, employee pick up, etc. All deliveries will be postmarked or stamped no later than the 24th of the ordering month.
- RETURNED TICKETS:
- The EDP Mail & Ride Order Form gives the authorized contact person the option of returning unsold tickets with the next month’s order.
All returned unsold tickets must be postmarked by the 10th of the month for which tickets are valid; otherwise no credit will be applied.
The SFRTA/Tri-Rail recommends that you make photocopies of any tickets you are returning.

EMPLOYER'S APPLICATION & AGREEMENT
After designating an EDP contact person and filling out and signing the Employer Application and Agreement,
employees will be on their way to taking advantage of valuable discounts, at no cost to your company.
